Edwin Van Leeuwen
About me:
I am a postdoc at Royal Holloway, University of London, working on developing new methods to analyse and compare time resolved
phosphorylation data, which will allow us to better understand the complex protein signalling networks that govern host invasion by Salmonella. When comparing different models of interaction it is often unnecessary to know the exact values of parameters of the models. Instead it is possible to integrate over the whole range of possible parameter values.
Previously I was employed as a postdoc at the University of Groningen, where I worked on modelling of competition between plant species. Although this work was on a very different subject than my current interests, many of the techniques and the underlying theory is actually very similar.
I obtained my PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London working on predator-prey interactions.
